We follow the most recent guidance on how to be more sustainable as well as contribute to research in the area. We care about the environment and aim to contribute to achieving sustainability within the scientific industry.
SUSTAINABLE LAB
Our Lab members are using eco-friendly reusable coffee mugs, drink bottles, face-masks, and tote bags.
LEAF PROGRAM
Our Lab participates in the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) program, which aims to embed good sustainability practises in labs. Changing the culture of research, not just ticking boxes.
Sustainability is embedded not only in our workplace culture, but also in our research strategy, including greener pharmaceutical manufacturing, solvent reduction, responsible biomaterials and sustainable healthcare technologies.
We have achieved a Gold Award in the Sustainable Laboratories from Queen's University Belfast!
